She was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Carter Hinnant. She is survived by aunts, Geneva Brown, Toye Creel (Jim), Joyce Chambers and Uncle Morris Carter (Carol), as well as many cousins.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 13, from 10:00-11:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am, from the Chapel of Brown Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Mary’s Street, Raleigh. Burial at Montlawn Memorial Park.
