Ramesh Obulapuram

Ramesh Obulapuram, age 38, from Arlington Subdivision of Amberly, Cary passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at WakeMed Cary after a very courageous fight against cancer. His family and friends were by his side when he drifted off to be with God.

Born in Chennai, India in June 1973 to Mrs. & Mr. Elumalai, Ramesh is known for his meticulous nature. He was humble, compassionate and full of positive energy. Ramesh’s life would seem too short to many, but those whose lives he touched understood that the richness of life depends more on the quality of one's existence than the number of years one lives.

Ramesh was a very devoted family man who always balanced family and work very effectively. He went by the nickname of "Systematic Ramesh" during his college days for his disciplined ways. Ramesh enjoyed watching movies and planning vacations with his close family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Savitha and daughter Akshi.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Marys Street, Raleigh, NC.
