Richard Bruce Haslett

Dick Haslett, 69, of Cary, NC, died on November 13, 2015. Dick was born in Bethlehem, PA. He graduated from Lehigh University and went on the get his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He made his career in accounting and finance, holding different roles over the years and having the pleasure to work across the USA and in many other countries.

Dick was an active member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Morristown, NJ, especially with the youth group, and most recently he was a member at Christ Church in Raleigh, NC. He spent many years as a leader in Boy Scout Troop 50 in Randolph, NJ, where his four sons earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Dick was an avid card player, enjoying bridge, poker, gin, and any other game you wanted to play. Dick was a generous and kind man who loved the company of his family and of friends new and old.

Dick is survived by his four sons, David Haslett and his wife, Jamie, Michael Haslett, Adam Haslett, and John Haslett; and his sister, Kathy Steiner and her husband, Scott. Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann Wasowski Haslett; and his parents, Bruce and Elizabeth Haslett.
