Bob, who spent most of his life in West Hartford, Connecticut, was the son of Louis V. Lucia and Loretta Lucia, and the brother of Janet Cowdrey and Mimi Michini (deceased).
On November 7, 1946, Bob married Dolores (deceased) in Cleveland, Ohio. They moved to West Hartford, Connecticut, where they raised three daughters.
He spent the last 16 years of his life living with his daughter, Joanne, and her husband, Daren, in North Carolina, where they lovingly cared for him.
He is survived by his daughters: Elizabeth “Beth” Malley and her husband, Dr. James Malley; Joanne McAulay and her husband, Daren McAulay; and the memory of his daughter, Paulette Beauchamp (deceased), wife of Ricardo Adolfo “Richard” Beauchamp (deceased).
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Janet Cashman and her husband, Christian J. Cashman; Robert P. Malley and his wife, Kathy Russell; Israel Malley and his wife, Natalie Malley; Dr. J. Eric Kowalczyk and his husband, Jeffrey Augustin; and the memory of Kyle J. Kowalczyk (deceased) and his wife, Laura Kowalczyk.
Bob was also the proud great-grandfather of many great-grandchildren.
Bob will be laid to rest beside his wife at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield, Connecticut.
