“Bob” was born November 1, 1941 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Mayme Grace and Chester Webber. He grew up in Versailles, along with his sisters, Joyce Hedges and Margaret Hyde. Bob attended the University of Kentucky. He served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Reykjavik, Iceland. Bob worked for IBM for 25 years and then as a realtor with Howard Perry, and Walston. He was married to Linda Newsom Webber for 61 years.
Bob leaves behind his wife Linda, his son Jeffery and Jeff’s wife Wendy, and his daughter Karla.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Bob from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 6th, 2026, at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC. His funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Charles Johnson officiating.
