Ronald Rex Downey, 63, passed away March 7, 2016. Ron was a previous volunteer at Parkwood Fire Department and member of Chapel Hill Fire Department.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh. A burial will take place at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh at 3 p.m.
