Ronnie was a childhood friend in our neighborhood in Hilton. I was thinking of some fond summer memories, camping out in our back yards...and so I Googled to look up Ron and Chris ... So saddened to learn of Ronnie's death. God Bless.

We laid Ron’s earthly body to rest this week and heaven shines a little brighter today.

Ron was an amazing person, a fantastic brother and a great uncle. His fun-loving spirit, loyalty, kindness, humility and investment in personal relationships were unmatched.

Ron’s ability to create memorable moments with his family and friends was a treasured gift. If you knew Ron well, you will always have those special, often humorous, stories. Enjoy them, look to the sky when they’re retold and remember him fondly.

Rest in peace Ron. You lived well, you died with unbelievable grace and you enriched many lives over your short 50 years on this earth. I miss you already and I’ll see you in heaven one day.

Love,
Chris

Our son, Ron had a kind heart and gentle spirit. Tuck in humility, integrity, dependable, methodical and a great sense of humor with a warm and easy laugh. His favorite pastimes were numerous outdoor activities and traveling.
Soar high and free our beloved son, as we forever hold you in our hearts.
All our love,
Mom and Dad

Most people knew Ron up close, but my knowledge of him was as a distant and supportive voice. After his sickness came to light, he began sharing with me about faith, determination, and hope. His thoughts were wise and reflected his strong character. The notes he wrote and mailed are encouraging and uplifting, and all the more precious in the wake of his sad passing. You were a good man, Ron, and leave a world where you gave and earned lasting love and respect.
