Ruby Inez Setzer Spears

Ruby was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Bennett Spears, Sr.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sandra Bennett Riggins and her husband, Frank; Jeff Brown; Desiree Smith; Rolinka Spears Bennett and her husband, Michael; Thomas Bennett Spears, Jr. and his wife, Lisa; Devlin Lance Spears and his wife, Sherry; Jamie Spears Jones and her husband, Scott. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Among her many passions were golf, traveling and playing cards. Ruby lived life to the fullest and loved cooking for family and friends. She was a very giving and caring person for all those in need. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Raleigh Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends 2:30-3:00 p.m. prior to the service in the mausoleum chapel.
