Santo Paul "Sam" Sisinni

Sam graduated from Hunter College in New York. He was a successful insurance agent with Prudent Insurance and with Allstate Insurance for many years. Sam loved to raise and race homing pigeons and was a member of the American Racing Pigeon Union. He enjoyed quiet times in his garden and time with his family. Sam was a volunteer with the Catholic Parish Outreach and participated in the start-up of the Parish Community Garden. He will be deeply missed.

He is lovingly remembered by his loving wife of 53 years, Regina Sisinni, of Wake Forest; his beloved children, Peter and wife Nancy, of Macon GA, Laura Mirande, of Florida, Regina Stehlik, of Durham NC, and Christopher Sisinni, of Chatham NY. Dear grandfather to, Michael, Christopher and Katelyn Mirande, and Michael and Samatha Stehlik. He will also be missed by his dog and buddy, Sandy.

Sam was predeceased by his brothers, Frank, Peter, and Mario Sisinni.

The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday May 30 from 12:00- 1:00 pm, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 11401 Leesville Road, Raleigh NC, with the funeral mass at 1:00 pm in the church. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.
