"As One"
Twist together you and I,
There is too much emotion.
Take a handful of clay,
Make an image of you, and an image of me.
Crush them together.
Again, make an image of you, and an image of me.
In my clay, there is a little of you,
And in your clay, there is a little of me.
Part of me has died with you,
But part of you will live with me until I join you once again.
Stella Sun, a long time resident of Raleigh, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the age of 79. She was surrounded by her family and a close friend.

She married her husband, Evan His-Wen Sun, in 1965 and had two wonderful sons, Teddy and Daniel. She was also blessed with many close friends, She had a rewarding career that included Duke and NC State Universities, and as a manager of a research lab for Cotton, Inc. For a short while she was a real estate agent before ending her career at the Department of Agriculture for North Carolina state government.
After retiring in 1998, Stella enjoyed many wonderful and exiting experiences with her husband travelling the country in an RV over the next 10 years before finally settling back in Raleigh for a much deserved rest.
