He was born on February 22, 1965, in Vance County. He was educated in the Vance County public school system. He an active member of Grace Ministries in Henderson, and for many years was self employed as a handyman, involved in all aspects of residential construction. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson, his family including Sassy. He never met a stranger, had a huge heart, and will be deeply missed by everybody who knew him.
Steven is survived by his fiancée, Annette Eatmon, of Kittrell, NC; brother, Ricky Patton, of Henderson, NC, sister, Regina "Jeannie" Rogers, and her husband, Vernon, of Louisburg, NC; half-brother, Scottie Patton of Henderson, NC; and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Peggy Anstead and Billy Patton, brother, Terry Patton and half-brother, Rodney Patton.
A funeral service for Steven was held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home. Burial followed in Raleigh Memorial Park.
