Sue was born on March 3, 1946 in Joliet, IL; a daughter of Don and Alma Gaylord. Surviving is one daughter, Amy Parker Cook (Jeff) of Raleigh, NC and a 13 year old granddaughter, Keegan Lucylle Parker Cook. She was preceded in death by her brother.
Sue spent her career working in many departments across the University of Illinois. She was a huge Illinois Basketball fan, and loved nothing more than watching a good game and yelling at the TV. Her other hobbies included crafting, cooking and travel.
A reception will be held in her honor on Wednesday, November 29th from 6-8pm at Mitchell Funeral Home on Glenwood Avenue.
