Sad to learn another of our class of '61 family has left us.  Condolences to his family.

Sad to learn that Ted's taken his last ride on this planet but, God willing, he's off on yet another great road trip out there somewhere. Enjoy! And, to the family, hold on to the great, fun--and funny--times together. It's one's life's most important legacies and he'd want that (is this correct grammar Miss Hazel? Geez, don't flunk me if it isn't!) to be his for all of you.

I knew Ted from RJR and roomed with him at N.C. State. He was very smart and always loved to be involved with friends. He loved his cars and motorcycles. My condolences goes out to his family.

Ted and I were pretty much best friends in High School. We used to cruise town in his 56 Ford and do the mischief kids sometimes do. Ted was a good electric guitar player, smart, and a great guy. I'll miss him.

Ted, The whole West End gang wish you well on the next journey of your life. We include Mike Watts, Doc Clay, Mary Ruth Dobbins, the Peyton sisters, Missy McKiethan and her brothers, Watt White, Ann Scott Lipfert, Sue Airey and myself.  We all hiked Hanes Park to Wiley School and RJR and grew up together. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I am proud to have known you and have had you for a friend.

Ted and I lived two doors from each other while we were attending Wiley and RJR.

He was always the life of the party and sometimes a little bit crazy.

I was at the RJR 50th High School reunion and am sorry I did not know that Ted worked for IBM as I also worked for them in Charlotte and other locations for many years.   My best to his family on this sad occasion.

Ted and Larry Bennett use to work on my '60 Chev at Ted's house.  Now they're both gone.  Really had a great time with Ted at RJR.  It's sad losing a fellow classmate.

Ted was always a great fellow & I enjoyed being with him at RJR. He will be missed. It's difficult to see old high school friends leave. God bless!
