My son said earlier if grandma dies I want to find the stairway to Heaven. I’d like to find that stairway too 😢 My mom’s ok for now but my grandmother was in her 90s suffering from dementia and is now gone due to COVID. Her quality of life has been poor ever since she broke her hip from a fall a few years ago and even though I’ve known the day would eventually come, nothing can prepare someone for such a loss. She was the most wonderful woman I’ve ever had in my life. She radiated pure goodness and light wherever she went. She was kind to every soul she came across. She taught me to see the light even in darkness and to keep my head up no matter what. Most importantly she taught me the value of priceless irreplaceable gems of life like family, kindness, love, and faith. I wish I could’ve said goodbye. She’ll forever be in my heart and I know she’ll be watching over me from heaven. I love you grandma.
