

“One word can begin a conversation that can lead to countless outcomes of goodness. From putting a smile on the face of a person you’ve never met, to helping someone overcome the deepest despair.” Tom wanted his last word to be “Thanks”. Thanks to everyone in his life that shared his joys and his pain, thanks to all who believed in him and mostly thanks to God for his grace and mercy.
Thomas Cole Richardson of Raleigh, NC will truly miss every one of you but on January 24th, 2016 he was called home and has gone to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Tom was born on April 25th, 1965 in Meadville PA to John (Jack) and Martha Richardson. He graduated from Vance High School in Henderson, NC. After high school he attended college at East Carolina University where he received a Bachelor’s degree.
Tom is survived by his parents, Jack and Martha Richardson of Henderson, NC; his son, Baker Cole Richardson of Kernersville, NC; his sisters and their spouses, Debbie and Johnny Green of Bahama, NC and Susan and Brian Jordan of Raleigh, NC; his brother, John Richardson of Raleigh, NC; and nieces and nephews Sheridan Jordan, Everette Jordan, Erik Green and Alex Green.
Tom you touched so many people’s lives with your sense of joy, passion and humor. We will hold you in our hearts until we meet again. Always remember we Love you back! Go Steelers!!!
A memorial service will be held at the Edenton Street United Methodist Church, 228 West Edenton Street, Raleigh, NC at 1:00 pm on Friday, 1/29/16. The family will be greeting friends and relatives at the church after the service.
