Psalm 23 The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me; Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

My heart goes out to Tonya’s daughter and family! It saddens me to hear of her passing! My heart is truly broken! I know someday we’ll meet again! I’m going to miss her so so much!!!! She definitely left an impact on my life!! Such a sweet woman of God and I loved her!!! I’m gonna miss the conversations and the different tv shows we would watch when she did my nails!!! I can still hear her say “ Girlll you better keep that oil on these cuticles “😂! She is the only nail tech I’ve been to that could push these cuticles back and had my hands looking good by the time I left her! I love and sure gonna miss you Tonya girl!!! Until we meet again!!!!

Please accept my condolences Taja, Pete,Larry, and Family. I meet Tonya in the late 90's when she first moved to Henderson... She was a dear friend to me our Run lasted for some years.. She would remind me on occasion u r old fashion. I was 13 years older lol but nevertheless she had that mild and meekness about herself. I wouldn't see her for 3-4 years gone by but, when we did of course we acted like Fools even start crying. She would say this doesn't make sense and we only live 10 miles each other.. I Loved her and she Loved me. Tonya I know we can't stay here forever. But losing you has made me put things in perspective..I want to be Ready when Jesus calls me Home....

I have known Tonya for well over 20 years and no matter when I called her or saw her, whether it be to cater or just to talk, she was like a breath of fresh air! She always had an uplifting word, her smile, laughter, just her demeanor. A true beauty. Though I have yet to totally process this, I do know 2 Corinthians 5:8 says We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.

Though we will miss her immensely, her job is complete here. My sincere condolences to the family.

Tonya was a wonderful person, inside and out! Everything she did and everyone she came in contact with she left a lasting impression on. I remember the day we had my nephews baby shower at her Cafe on Main St. in Henderson when she was open there about 10 years ago. She showed true love to everyone that she didn’t know and for that we thanked her. That’s the person she was. Loved everyone, never met a stranger. From the time I met her she was always the same. Prayers for the family.
