Vijay Singh Chhabra

Born in Mandsaur, India, Vijay was always known for his contagious spirit and extraordinary sense of humor. Vijay had a unique ability to bring joy to every room he entered. Known as the consummate storyteller, his sharp wit and endless repertoire of jokes kept everyone around him entertained, even in life’s more difficult moments. Beneath his humor was a deeply thoughtful and politically minded man who was unwavering in his convictions.

A brilliant chemist, Vijay dedicated his career to pushing the boundaries of science and discovery. His work was not limited to just the office, but spilled over into his personal life, teaching both of his sons about the wonders of chemistry and instilling the love of learning in them early on.

In addition to his professional, social and familial accomplishments, Vijay will be remembered for his warmth, his relentless optimism, and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. His legacy of laughter, love, and brilliance will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Vijay is survived by his loving wife, Meena; his two sons, Angad and Arjun; his daughter-in-law, Shilpa; his cherished grandson, Cayden; and his three brothers. His family was his greatest pride and joy, and he treasured the time he spent with them.

A private service was held for close family and friends to honor his memory.

He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
