Harry was born November 23, 1948 in Raleigh, NC to the late Wilbert David Raynor and Hazel Westbrook Raynor. He was a graduate of Broughton High School and a veteran of the US Army Reserves. Harry was a warm, funny, friendly man that never met a stranger and loved his family. He lived life to the fullest and fought until the very end. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Patty Raynor.
Harry is survived by his wife, Lynn Ann Volker Raynor; daughters, Mary Beth Ekland, Wendy Noriskin, Cindy Sommerkamp and Lisa Raynor; brother, Richard Raynor; and seven grandchildren, Brooks, Savannah, Lorien, Liam, Amanda, Will, and Sophie.
A memorial service will be held 11am Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Western Boulevard Presbyterian Church, 4900 Kaplan Dr, Raleigh, NC 27606. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
