I am so very saddened to hear of  Bill's, a.k.a. "Binky's" death. What an awesome man he was. As I sit here and write a msg to you, I think of the laughs and the good times shared from years ago in Albany. Especially the Stark Agency xmas partys and trips to and fro to get there. Thanks for the laughs!  I am a better person for having known you. God speed to peace and tranquility Bill. R.I.P my friend.

I grew up in Altamont with "Billy" as we called him. He was a great guy, fun, sweet, so likeable. I'll never forget being at his house when we were kids and his sister telling us about this new singer, Elvis Presley. I'm so very sorry to hear of his untimely death. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Grief can be so hard during the holidays, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one this holiday season.

New to the neighborhood and cutting the lawn for the first time; real hot day.  My Neighbor was doing the same and duirng a well deserved break, I offered him a beer.  He gladly accepted and as we were drinking, having a smoke, and complaining about our chores, I realized that I'd just met one of the nicest guys in the world, Bill Burke.  From there we just became better friends, sorta like brothers or just real good buddies.  Jokes, teasing, pranks, it was all fair game.  Well Billy, I just got back from your viewing and you looked great.  Actually, just like the day I met you.  I spoke to you a fair bit and I knew you heard me.  I can only think and hope that your passing was a blessing that spared you from painful days ahead.  I'll think of you every time I bite into a rare burger and chase it with a beer.  Glad to have you as a friend Billy.  Rest in Peace and watch down on us Billy, we'll see you soon.  Love, your good friend Rich.

RIP Bill.  It's been a long time since we were together at Great Northern, but you were always a great friend and your passing comes way too young.  My condolences to your family.  I'll miss you big guy!

Our deepest condolences are extended to Marianne and the family.  Bill grew up with my wife and I in Altamont, NY.  He was a gentle soul..  Loved the smile.

Heartfelt condolences to Bill's family.  Bill worked for my family at the Bavarian Chalet in Guilderland, NY for several years in the 1970s.  His parents were long time customers.  I'll always remember Bill as a gracious and kind gentleman.  My children remember Bill as well, and they were quite young at that time.  May you cherish the wonderful memories and know that Bill is at peace...and that he was loved and respected by all who knew him.
