She was born on August 27, 1930 in South Korea to her parents, Jin Young Kim and Bong Yi Lee.
She is lovingly remembered by her son Jai Eun and daughters Eun-Ok, Eun-Kyung, and Eun-Young. She will also be missed by her sisters Young In Kim and Kyung Ok Kim.
