Adam Gregory Molai

Adam was born in Akron, Ohio on August 24, 1987 to Fred Molai and Bridget Sanders. He was a 2005 graduate of Field High School and was an AT3 Petty Officer engaged as an Aviation Electronics Technician currently stationed at the Naval Air Station in Lemoore, California. Adam was a member of Strike Fighter Squadron VFA 122 based at NAS Lemoore.

Adam loved music and was an awesome drummer. He loved playing the drums and also the guitar. Adam was a great husband and father who loved his children.

Adam is survived by his wife, Angel and his daughters: Brooklyne and Amelia. He is also survived by his parents Fred Molai and Bridget Sanders along with his brothers: Cory Molai and Lukas Jones. Adam is survived also by his second mom, Donna (Donna Z) Russell and his father figure and mentor, Mike Mathia. Adam will also be sadly missed by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and all of his friends whose lives he touched…”Drum On”.

Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents: Joseph Sanders and Elizabeth “Knoch” Sanders and his best friend and fellow band mate, Ryan Streem.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 28, 2011 from 2:00PM until 6:00PM at Field High School, 2900 St. Rt. 43 in Brimfield. Funeral Services officiated by Pastor David Ballert will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 29, 2011 at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St. Ravenna. Burial with full military honors by the United States Navy will follow at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.
