

Born on March 9, 1949, as the first of Paul and Virginia Hamilton’s six sons, Andy was a devoted husband, father, brother, and uncle. He was a member of the last class to graduate from Randolph High School in 1967 and went on to work for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 43 years. Andy was one of the first EMT’s in the state of Ohio and devoted 42 years of service to the Randolph Volunteer Fire Department. Although dedicated to his work and volunteer service, Andy’s true love was being an active participant in the lives of his children and grandchildren.
Andy leaves behind his wife Sandy; his children Mark (Erin), Dan (Sarah), and Jennie (Quentin) Cowdrey, their mother Pat Oster; grandchildren Nolan, Alex and Avery, Morgan and Julia; brothers Gary (Diane), Larry (Sandra), Bob (Jody), Dave, Jeff (Ann); stepdaughter Sabrina (Roland) Dueschle, their children Christina, Bethany, and Abigail and numerous nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his father Paul and mother Virginia, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Following Andy’s wishes, the family will have a graveside service at the Hillside Cemetery Chapel in Randolph at 3:00 PM on Friday, February 13, 2015 with Reverend James P. Lang officiating.
