Andy enjoyed many sports growing up especially basketball and baseball. In his youth he was active with his church youth group. In his adult life, Andy served as Chaplain of American Legion, Kent, Ohio #496 and also served as Ohio District 14 Sons of American Legion Chaplain. For many years he assisted his mother in the family catering business. He was very interested in politics & history and the occasional debates that would occur over these subjects were quite entertaining. Andy enjoyed listening to the Beatles, Bob Dylan and Sly and the Family Stone and had a deep appreciation for the Arts and Sciences. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid chess player. Andy was proud to be a longtime volunteer at the County Clothing Center in Ravenna. A kind and caring man who didn’t have a mean bone in his body will be missed by all.
Andy was adored by his loving Mother, Elsie Teets, loving sister, Louann (Jerry) Burress, and the pride and joy of his life was spending time with his nephews: Hunter and Griffin Burress.
