Andrew "Andy" Riise

Andy is survived by his wife of 37 years, Grace. He is also survived by his children, Elayne (John) Belofi of South Dakota, Patty Paris of Barberton, Ohio, Peggy Dunaway of Barberton, Ohio, James (Paulette) Riise of Shreve, Ohio and William Riise of Ravenna, Ohio. Andy is survived also by seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and several step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Inglief Riise; granddaughter, Baby Dunaway; and first wife, Othella, who passed away in 1971.

Andy was retired from Goodyear Aerospace Loral in 1988 and was a member of local 856 UAW and the breakfast club. Andy loved life with his family only second to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and a life of humbly serving others.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna where funeral services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Brian Bales officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery will occur at 3 p.m. on Friday.
