Anna C. Lackey

Anna was the beloved wife of Robert L Lackey and mother of Paulette Lamendola, Bethe Kammer (Mike), and Robert L Lackey, Jr. She is also survived by siblings, Joseph J. Cardinale (Carol) and Darlene J. Fetterhoff (Barry). Survivors include great grandchildren, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many beloved cousins and friends.

Deceased family members include her parents, Domenic and Virginia (DeSalvo) Cardinale, and sister C.Marie Hards. Two brothers, Santo (Sonny) and Francis (Frank) also preceded her in death.

Anna graduated from St. Francis High School in Clearfield, PA as an honor student in 1948. She had different secretarial jobs throughout her life and retired from KSU audiovisual department in 1994 with over 25 years of service.

Anna and Bob loved traveling throughout the US and often cruised the warm climates. Her many talents included remodeling and decorating her homes, entertaining guests and growing beautiful flowers and lovely plants. Entertaining and caring for young children were also her passions.

Our beloved Anna will be sadly missed for she showed much love and genuine concern for others.

Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St Ravenna, Ohio on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 11:00 am until the funeral service, officiated by Rev. James Lang, beginning at 12:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
