Austin Cheffins was born October 5, 2011, and earned his angel wings on December 14, 2011. Austin lived his whole life at Akron Children’s Hospital because he was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He was a fighter and fought until the end.
Austin is survived by his parents Michael and Rachel Cheffins, his twin brother Brandon, and big sister Ashley, grandparents Allen & Barb Spaulding and Ralph & Donna Greco, great-grandmother Leona Alexander, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Austin was preceded in death by his grandfather Roy Cheffins.
Cremation has taken place and friends will be received from 5:00 PM until the 6:00 PM memorial service on Thursday, December 22, 2011, at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna.
