She was a homemaker for many years. She worked at Hudson County Counter in the Deli after Debra was a teenager, and then at Acme in Ravenna, Ohio. Barbara loved to quilt and crochet and made many beautiful quilts and wall hangings over the years. She was a past member of the Atwater Piecemakers and the Canton Quilters. Barbara was a wonderful loving mother and grandmother and frequently babysat their grandchildren once they came along. She was a perfectionist in every sense of the word. She was impeccably dressed; her house was immaculate at all times and always drove a spotless car (thanks Daddy).
She was a member of New Testament Baptist Church and loved Jesus with her whole heart. She is reunited with her husband in Glory now! They began their life in Cleveland, Ohio (Uncle Sam added Kentuck and Kansas to the mix. If she could have gone to Korea with Dad, she would have). They lived in Streetsboro for 15 years, before building their dream home in Atwater. They lived in Atwater for 35 years.
The family would like to thank the Administration & Staff of Vista Veranda for their wonderful, loving care for the past 4 ½ years and Harmony Hospice for all of the care during the past year and especially the last few weeks.
