Betty DeMali

Betty was born July 5, 1930 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to the late Ray and Janie (Dean) Jacobs.

Betty enjoyed gardening and quilting. She will be remembered as a great cook and baker. For many years Betty displayed her quilts at the Randolph Fair.

She was a charter member and the eldest member of Grace Church. She was also a member of the Brimfield Garden Club, Rootstown Herb Society, and the Country Piece Makers quilt club.

Besides her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband John, her daughter Karen Paulette “Robin” DeMali, her sisters Eva Dewitt and Rose Deal, and her brothers Bob, Eugene, and Bill Jacobs.

She is survived by her son Gary DeMali, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved church family.

Friends may call 10am-12pm Saturday, August 6th at Grace Church of Rootstown, 4808 Tallmadge Rd. in Rootstown; where the funeral service will begin at Noon. Private interment in Grandview Cemetery.
