

She was born July 14, 1930, in Akron, Ohio, to parents Orville and Amma Mae (McKown) Walker. Betty retired from the GE Lamp Plant in Ravenna after 20 years of service. She enjoyed watching movies, sewing, and working on puzzles. Most of all, Betty enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters: Shellie Sergent of Ravenna, Lori Cozart of Diamond, and Joy (Stan) Watson of Brimfield; her grandchildren: Michelle Walsh, Stephen Cozart, Jarrod Watson, and Jenna Watson, as well as her 4 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her son Craig Cook.
Friends will be received Saturday, August 17, 2013, from 11:00 AM until the 1:00 PM funeral service officiated by Pastor David Ballert at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Atwater Cemetery.
