Carol Ann Cottrell

She was born June 23, 1938, in Streetsboro, Ohio, a daughter of Ralph G. and Irene L. (Hoffaker) Fear. Carol retired from Northfield Park as a waitress. She enjoyed reading and gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and pets. Carol was very skilled with needlepoint and was always knitting and crocheting gifts for family and friends.

Survivors include her children: Michael (Carla) Warner of Glendale AZ, Karyne “Missie” (Steve) Mallinak of Garrettsville, Robin (Chris) Cottrell of Ravenna, Leslie (Josh) Wilson of Ravenna; also survived by her mother: Irene Fear of Ravenna; sister: Bonnie (Jim) Markell of Hagerstown MD; 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Ralph G. Fear.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2010, at 6:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
