Carol Lee Dotterweich

She was born May 18, 1941, in Akron, Ohio, to parents Clarence and Faye (Hershey) Try. Carol was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her best friend, Jane Westfall. They would go shopping and to restaurants, and liked to visit Jane’s family in Cadiz.

She is survived by her daughter Candy (Herb) Legg, her grandchildren: Brittany (Paul) Ondecker, Myley Legg, Benjamin Legg, Katrina Dotterweich, and Paige McCrossen, her great-grandchildren: Niko, Harper, Glenna, Mason, Brantley and Aria, as well as her brother Garrie (Linda) Try.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Dotterweich, her sons: Monty, Parrish, and Matthew Dotterweich, and her sister Scherrie Greenwood.

Friends and family will be received Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with funeral services at 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Entombment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
