Carol A Steele

She was born August 25, 1946, in Ravenna, Ohio, to Mary Cottrill Barnes and Dale R. Cottrill.

Carol enjoyed playing cards. She also enjoyed going on cruises. Carol was a school bus driver and also worked as a dispatcher for the PCSO.

Carol is survived by her husband Pete Steele, her son Dale (Jeanette) Steele, her daughter Cynthia (Brian) Steele, daughter-in-law Becky Steele, her grandchildren: Tyler and Brianna Steele, Courtney (Justin) Reulbach, Peter (Katelyn) Kaminski, her sister Linda Welty, her brother Curtis Cottrill, and her sister-in-law Patsy Fox.

Carol is preceded in death by her father Dale R. Cottrill, mother Mary Cottrill Barnes, step-father Richard Barnes, brother Dale Cottrill, uncle Jim Westfall, and her son Raymond Charles Steele.

Friends and family will be received Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM with a funeral service officiated by Minister Marvin Braun at 4:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E Main St, Ravenna.
