She was born February 24, 1938, in Warren, Ohio, to parents Charles “Chuck” and Kathleen (Preston) Fulton. Charleen graduated from Leavittsburg High School and attended Bowling Green University. She worked as a bus aid for Weaver Industries School.
Charleen was a loving mother and grandmother. She dedicated her time to taking care of her daughter Nikki, and also cherished her time spent with her grandkids. Charleen volunteered as a 4-H Leader while her children were growing up. She was a passionate gardener and loved flowers. Charleen was also a sports fan. She liked to watch the Cleveland Indians and Ohio State football, but especially loved watching her kids, grandkids, and great-grandchildren play sports. She was the Manchester Stealths biggest fan.
Charleen is survived by her children: Tami (Bill) Kalbaugh, Lori Ross, Jeff (Beth) Rowan, and Nikki Rowan, her grandchildren: Alyssa (Dustin) Ross, Chelsea (Aaron) Warner, Matt (Anjellica) Almond, Joel (Tabatha) Ross, Josh Ross, Brad Rowan, Luke (Hannah) Rowan, Ben (Autumn) Rowan, Mark (Alayna) Rowan, James Rowan, Cate Rowan, and David Rowan, as well as her brother Fred (Mary) Fulton. GiGi’s memory will also live on through her great-grandchildren: Emma, Brayden, and Elijah Ross, Landen and Owen Warner, Ezra and Rachel Rowan, Mark Ross, Angelina Ross, Payton, Aubrey, and Caden Almond.
Charleen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Darrel Rowan, and her daughter Toni Chamberlain.
