

He was born August 11, 1964, in Sistersville, West Virginia, to parents Martha Joan (Steed) and Charles Edward Harton Sr. Charlie was a self-employed contractor and attended Turning Point Baptist Church, where he was a member of their co-ed softball team.
Charlie loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a Jeff Gordon, and later a Chase Elliot, fan. Charlie was known for his colorful sense of humor and creative cooking. He will be dearly missed by his grandkids and his 15 year old sidekick, his dog, “Murphy.”
Charlie is survived by his beloved wife Pamela Harton, children: Charles E. Harton III, Chad Joseph Fodse, Joshua (Victoria) Harton, Nicholas Martin Fodse, Britteny (Kevin Lambert) Harton, and Branson Peter Harton, as well as his grandchildren: Logan and Mia Harton, Ella Lambert, and Arabella Renee Fodse. He is also survived by his father Charles E. Harton Sr., siblings: Norma Steed, Tammy Carson, and Ronald Goshorn, along with Michael Adams, his wife Diana, and their daughter Charity, all who Charlie considered his family.
Charlie was preceded in death by his mother Martha Harton.
Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held on a later date at the Turning Point Baptist Church. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.wood-kortright-borkoski.com.
