He was born January 31, 1956, in Cartersville, Georgia, a son of the late Albert and Bonnie (Whiteside) Patterson. Jack was a supervisor at Jet Rubber in Rootstown. He enjoyed restoring old cars, riding his Harley, and fishing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his sons Charles Patterson of Ravenna and Larry (Cheryl Stahl) Patterson of Brimfield; grandchildren: Michael, Dakota, and Angel; brother: Danny Carter; sisters: Nancy Oglesby and Peggy Jones; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his brothers Elmer Junior Criss and Robert Criss.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 15, 2010, at his niece Renae’s home at 5619 New Milford Rd., Ravenna, OH 44266.
