

He was born September 27, 1930, in Central City, Pennsylvania, to parents Milford Henry and Louise (Cuba) Ross. Charlie proudly served his country during the Korean War as a member of the US Army 67th Tank Battalion, “Hell on Wheels.” He was a life member of the VFW and a member of the New Testament Baptist Church. Charlie was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Una Ross, sons Charles (Darlene) Ross and Timothy Ross, granddaughter Tiffany Ross, brother James Ross, and sister Vada Koontz, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Lester, Jack, and Ralph, and his sisters Betty, Esther, Janet, and Helen.
Cremation has taken place with burial at Grandview Memorial Park. A memorial service will be celebrated by Pastor Bob Burgess on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at 1:00 PM at the New Testament Baptist Church, 3583 State Route 59, Ravenna, OH 44266.
