Charles was born May 17, 1933 in Elizabethton, Tennessee to parents Chester and Bessie (Nidifer) Walker. He retired as line supervisor from General Motors after a long career and a member of the UAW. Charles enjoyed working outside, especially doing lawn work, mowing the grass and gardening. He loved his tractor and tinkering with it. Charles was a loving husband and father and was totally devoted to the care of his wife.
Charles is survived by his wife of 66 years, Charlotte (DeLoach) Walker and his children Mary (David) Walter, Karen Walker, Nancy (Chris) Reardon and James Walker. He also leaves his grandchildren Nicholas (Nicole) Reardon, Jennifer (Eric) Iannini and great-grandchildren Gabriel & Morghan Reardon. His sister, Zelma Lyons survives him along with many loving nieces and nephews.
His parents and eight siblings preceded him in death.
Private family graveside services, officiated by Chaplain William Wisniewski, will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.
