She was born May 30, 1920, in Akron, Ohio, to parents Stephen and Frances Jagiela. Cora was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Ravenna and devoted herself to her family. Cora was married to Harry Korpita for 59 years. He preceded her in death in 1999. Cora and Harry resided in Titusville, Florida, through winter months during their golden years. They were both well known for their ownership of the Jolly Time Tavern and softball field, as well as Jolly Time Trailer Sales. Many happy stories are shared about the wonderful times that were experienced there.
