Dale was born October 2, 1932 in Akron, Ohio to the late William and Gladys (DeFluiter) Bisson. He was an avid Cleveland Indians fan, loved his golf and fishing. Dale was a tool and die maker and had been retired from Ford Co. after 40 years of service working at the Walton Hills stamping plant.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Eugene Bisson and Gladys (Bisson) Oaks and grandson, Jason Bisson.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary Ann (Hughes) Bisson; daughters Betty Johnson, Barbara (Michael) Capron, Carol (Denny) Weyandt, and Darlene (Kary) McClain; grandchildren Melynda, Abrea and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Catie, Ryan, Cody, Carlie, Sylvena, Millie, Layla and Alexander.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Western Reserve Hospital for all their kindness and loving care. They went above and beyond. Thank you to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center for the care in his final hours.
Graveside services, officiated by Chaplain William Wisniewski, will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna. Interment will follow.
