I just ran across this, years late, but I would like to send you a belated condolence. Dale was a very good friend of my husband, Jack, and years later, I was fortunate to meet him, and we stayed in contact through Facebook and the Randolph Fair. Jack passed in 2020, and now they are forever friends at the Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery.

My brothers and I would always hope that Uncle Dale wouldn’t be home and we could leave him a message on his machine when we called to invite him to our birthday parties when we were young. If he was there, Uncle Dale would ask us questions that we had already told him again and again….like…”who is this?” “When is this party?” “Who is this again?” This line of questioning seemed to go on forever and ever…every year. Growing up, I remember Uncle Dale always being at every birthday party of mine and I remember the glimmer and interest in his eyes as I would open his gifts. After all the harassment on the phone, it always seemed important to him to see the look on my face when I opened his gift. Miss you Uncle Dale.

Love ,

Jeff

So sad to hear about Dale's passing. Mary Nitzsche

Dale, you will always be in my heart. You were my savior when you came into my life and I have loved you like a father and best friend ever since. Every motorcycle ride, laugh, dinner, holiday and special time we shared together will never be forgotten. I’m so glad you got to spend time with me out West, but most of all I will miss our everyday conversations. You were one of a kind and the world lost one of its best. I love you Snookie. Love, Cuddles

Dales passing will be felt by many he was very loved and I will sure miss riding with him and receiving his private messages to scare me! He will not be forgotten. He is definitely somebody you do not forget! Until we meet again much love to the family and prayers

I remember when uncle dale and I were on our way back to our houses we were on our road coming around a curb and he was in front of me looking up at the sky I looked up also for a quick second then looked back down in front of me he starts veering off into a ditch on the right side of the road and ditches his bike the bike is on top of him I'm freaking out I almost forget to put my kickstand down on my bike I run over to him to thinking he's hurt really bad but hes on his stomach laughing so hard he cant stop then he says " I wonder what kind of bird that was did you see it, it was big? So I help get the bike off of him we finally get the bike out of the ditch and we ride the rest of the way back to his house. I help him inside his house and he looks at me and says "i still don't know what kind of bird that was. How about we don't tell anyone about this". Love you uncle dale

This is in memory of a dear friend Dale. I hope this does help those in your family. You are a very kind man and that is
what others will remember. Nancy Kline and myself when we met with you and other friends from High School at McDonalds we remember this as good times that we shared, talked, and laughed. Those were the days.

For the family and friends: so sorry for the loss of Dale. A good man gone too soon. Contstant sunshine and fair weather ahead for the reunion with all those that went before. Dale will be missed by many. Lots of memories. (Dale, when you meet Mike you'll understand my stupid question when I first met you and asked if you were sure you weren't Mike- thus "Not Mike")
