Daniel R Wolford

He was born March 11, 1960, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, to parents Richard J. and Velma Juanita (Smith) Wolford. Danny graduated from Rootstown High School in 1978.

Danny went on to proudly serve in the United States Army. He loved God and football throughout his life. Danny was a faithful member of New Testament Baptist Church where he would often play his guitar and serve as an usher. He was an avid West Virginia Mountaineers, Michigan Wolverines, and Cleveland Browns football fan.

Danny is survived by his father Richard Wolford, his siblings: Vickie (Ricky) Boston, Darlene (Jim) Rhinehart, Debbie Wise, and Richie Wolford, along with several nieces, nephews, and all of his loving church family.

Danny was preceded in death by his mother Velma Juanita Wolford, and his brothers Jerry and Richard Wolford.

Friends and family will be held on January 2, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the New Testament Baptist Church, located at 3583 State Route 59, Ravenna, Ohio, 44266. A funeral service will follow at the church, starting at 11:00 am, officiated by Pastor Bob Burgess. Final resting place will be Maple Grove Cemetery.
