He was born January 12, 1961, in Ravenna, Ohio. He was the son of Richard G (Gini) Blasens and the late Emily (Blasens) Lude. Mr. Blasens had worked as a machinist but also was a very competent auto mechanic.
He will always be remembered for his unique ability to meet complete strangers and have them laughing at something he said within minutes. Although his struggles in life were many his strength to battle them never wavered. As you now leave the physical bonds of earth your memories will never be forgotten.
David leaves his loving wife Roberta, daughter Ashley (Blasens) Boyer, son Joey Blasens, stepson Ryan (Sara) Macovitz, brothers Richard (Sherry) Blasens, and Dennis (Michele) Blasens. He also leaves grandchildren Cameron Blasens, Tyler, Tanner Boyer, Gabby, Ryan Andrew Macovitz along with niece Megan (Blasens) Gray and nephews Nick and Tony Blasens.
