David was born on September 21, 1971, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the son of David Sr. and Betty (Knavel) Ross. David attended St. Therese and was a 1989 graduate of Garfield Heights High School in Garfield Heights, Ohio.
David was an employee of Chrysler Parts Division (Mopar) in Streetsboro for 20 years and a member of UAW Local 573. He was an animal lover and strived to make people happy. David will be missed by so many.
David is survived by his beloved wife Shannon E. (Burkett) Ross and his stepchildren Hunter and Clarissa Wood. David is also survived by his mother Betty (Knavel) Ross, his sister Debbie Ross and his aunt Barbara Ross.
David was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father David Ross Sr.
David’s request to donate his body to science and cremation is being honored and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Saturday, February 29, at the Immaculate Conception Church, 409 W. Main St., Ravenna. A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Bill Johnson, will also be held at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, at 1:00PM on Saturday, March 14, 2020. A Celebration of his Life will immediately follow in the catered event center at the funeral home until 4:00pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the David Ross Jr. Memorial Fund, C/O Portage Community Bank, Ravenna to help offset final expenses.
