David V. Samec

He was born August 6, 1965, in Maple Heights, Ohio, to parents Eugene and Geraldine (McMillion) Samec. David worked for Go-Jo Industries in Cuyahoga Falls. He enjoyed visiting National Parks and locally going to Towners Woods. David was an avid Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan.

David is survived by his beloved wife Gretchen (Andexler) Samec and her son Benjamin Andexler. David is also survived by his brother: Timothy McMillion, his sisters: Belinda (Steve) Yanovich and Gloria (Clayton) Williams, as well as his father and mother-in-law: Jerry and Dee Andexler, and his brothers and sisters-in-law: Steve, Kevin, Matthew (Kelly), Christopher, Jonathon (Rebecca), and Anthony Michael Andexler.

David was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers James and Darrell Samec, and his sister Brenda Samec.

Friends and family will be received Tuesday, July 6, 2021, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Schofield officiating funeral services at 1:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E., Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
