David Wayne Tracy

David was born in Huntington, West Virginia on August 19, 1965 to parents Jack W. and Lynda W. (Phillips) Tracy. He graduated high school in 1983 in Huntington, W. Va. and earned a degree from Marshall University. David worked as a sales representative for industrial supply companies. He enjoyed fishing and camping and loved the band RUSH. David was also a huge “Thundering Herd” fan. He along with his wife were also members of the 26th street Church of Christ in Huntington.

David is survived by his wife of 6 years, Melissa Tracy of Ravenna, Ohio and step-daughters: Brandi White, Brittani Allen and Kayla Varner, all of Ravenna. Surviving also are step-grandchildren: Christopher Kotkowski, Camryn Kotkowski, Michael Kotkowski, Damian Pfeiffer, Paige White, Logan White, Christina Allen and Mason Allen. David also leaves his siblings: Tim (Judy) Tracy of Southpoint, Ohio, Steven (Carla) Tracy of Kitts Hill, Ohio and Leigh Ann (Josh) Cochran of Parkersburg, W. Va. Surviving also are his in-laws Bill and Dora Bower, several nieces and nephews and special friends: Nelson (Betty) Edward, JB (Piney) Venoy and Kathy Eplion.

David was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services, officiated by Pastor Chris Roberts, will be held at 11:00am on Friday, May 13, 2016 in the Chapel at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, 5547 West Pea Ridge Rd., Huntington, W. Va. Interment will follow.
