Dee is survived by the love of her life, husband of 58 years, W. Dale Miller, her children Laura (Lori) “chickadee” Gregory (George), David “Dazid Merl” Miller (Denise, “Necey”), Debra (“Deb”) Adams (Robert), Christina (“Chrissy”) Miller Stollar, James "Jimmy" W. Dee’s life’s-work and passion was in putting “others first” which brought her pure joy. Dee put Her Lord and Savior first and her family held a close-second. Dee found the most joy in sewing for others. She was a self-taught master-seamstress and used that talent to offer children in Africa and around the world dresses to wear, beautiful gowns for hospice patients, multiple items to provide comfort and would hem or repair clothing items, as well as making clothing and costumes for her children and friends. Dee also held annual garage sales where people donated items and all the proceeds went to back-packs for children in need. Dee also made memory bears for those who had loved ones who passed. She also loved to look for old quilts to make bears out of for friends and loved ones. Dee loved to cook for her family and made thousands of dinners for those who were ill or in need of food. Dee’s favorite verse was “Be Still and Know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10).
The Family would like to offer a special thanks to Dr. Joseph Pietrolungo and Dr. Matthew Taylor who went above and beyond to allow her family to have 5 more years with her. Dee requested, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Ravenna Center of Hope 1081 W.
