Dempsey Newsome

Dempsey was born in Louisa, Kentucky on October 20, 1962 to parents Jay and Katherine Newsome. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening, cooking and rock n roll music. Dempsey really liked to hang around the campfire and loved his dog “Pip”. Most of all he loved and enjoyed being with his family.

Dempsey is survived by his wife of 22 years, Paula Newsome and his children: Brennan Newsome and Shane Noch. He also leaves his brothers: Bo (Joyce) Newsome, Kenny (Gail) White, David (Linda) Gillman, Shane Newsome, Greenway Newsome and Jesse (Diana) Newsome, and his sisters: Alice (Dale) Burdette, Teresa Nesse and Melinda Gillman. Many loving nieces and nephews also survive him as well as his special friends: Melvin Whitted and Jack Keller.

Dempsey was preceded in death by his parents, his son Brandon Newsome, his brother Tilton Newsome and his in-laws Stanley and Elizabeth Kowalski.
