Denise Ann Tarnowski

Denise graduated from Streetsboro High School in 1979. She was a sales rep who sold funeral supplies for Superior in Solon, and later retired from Halo in Twinsburg.

Denise loved animals, especially dogs. After her little Yorkie, LuLu, passed away, Denise would often babysit her brother’s dog, Mingo. She enjoyed shopping and kept her Amazon cart constantly full. Above all, Denise cherished her time spent with her family and her dog.

Denise is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sarah and Tommy Groves Jr., her grandson and his fiancé Micheal (Chloe Thomas) Groves, her siblings: Debra (Mark) Wertman, Deanna (Ron) Bailey, and Frank Ross III, as well as her companion, Curtis Marple.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ted Tarnowski, her sister Darlene Ross, and her Goddaughter Jennifer Collier.

Denise’s wishes for cremation are being honored. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at St. Joan of Arc Hall in Streetsboro. Condolences and fond memories may be shared at www.wood-kortright-borkoski.com
