Donald Rexroad

Donald was born in Gassaway, West Virginia on January 30, 1933 to parents Clyde and Beva Rexroad. Donald was a retired U.S. Army Veteran, proudly serving 23 years and had also been retired as a cook for many years at local restaurants. A Ravenna resident since 1975, he enjoyed gardening, especially growing turnip greens for all of his neighbors. He liked to cook and also enjoyed bowling and fishing.

Donald is survived by his children: Donald Lee Rexroad, Loretta (David Boggs) Kent and Ronald (Barbara) Rexroad. Surviving also are his grandchildren: Adam Rexroad, John McKelvey, Ashley (Matt) McKelvey-Mott, Vanessa (Matt Pidgeon) Horst, Tessa M. (Dan) Michaels, Corissa L. (George Archer) Horst, Jennifer Rexroad and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lois, son Doran Jay Rexroad and his brother Vernon Rexroad.

Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna on Tuesday, February 9, 2015 from 11:00AM until the 1:00PM funeral service officiated by Dan Michaels. Burial at Maple Grove Cemetery will follow.
