Donna C Callerame

She was born August 1, 1957, in Clifton Springs, New York, a daughter of the late Donald and Dreatha (Taylor) Carson. Donna was a devoted homemaker and mother to her seven children. In 1995, she graduated from nursing school, and worked as a nurse for many years.

Donna devoted her life to caring for those she loved. In addition to taking care of her children and aging parents, Donna invited multiple people into her home to help care for them. Caring for others came naturally to her. Donna also enjoyed cooking large meals for her family and neighbors, or anybody that she thought needed fed. Those who knew her best will remember her crafting, homemaking, or cooking in her kitchen with reggae music playing in the background. She will be affectionately remembered for her infectious personality, carefree spirit and kind heart.

Donna is survived by her children: Markita (Douglas) Howard, Mackenzie (Chris Preston) Carson-Preston, Michelle (Michael) Hemker, Valentina Cardin, James Cardin, Gabriel (Erin) Cardin, and Katherine (Anthony) Barbera. Nana’s memory will also be cherished by all of her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
